OUR CORE VALUES

CHRIST'S HEADSHIP:  We acknowledge Jesus Christ as the head of the Church and submit ourselves and all our activities to His will, good pleasure and glory. (Eph. 1:22-23, 3:21, 4:15, 5:23; Col. 3:9)

MINISTRY OF THE WORD:  We strive to minister God’s written Word (the Bible) with integrity and authority so that seekers experience Christ and believers mature in Him. (I Thes. 2:13; I Tim. 4:16; II Tim. 3:16-17, 4:1-2; Titus 1:9; II Peter 1:19-21)

AUTHENTIC WORSHIP:  We desire to acknowledge God’s supreme value and worth in our personal lives and in the corporate church body through praise and contemporary worship during our church services. (Romans 12:1-2; Phil. 3:3; Psalms 2:11-12)

PRAYER:  We rely on private and corporate prayer in all we do. We pray and ask God's guidance and direction in all we do, from planning to execution of all the ministries and activities of the church. (Matt. 21:22; Luke 19:46; Acts 1:14; Col. 4:2; I Thes. 5:17)

SENSE OF COMMUNITY:  We desire all believers to commit and fully participate in biblically functioning small groups where they may be pastored, experience godly relationships, exercise their gifts, reach the lost and ultimately grow in Christ likeness. (Acts 2:42-47; Eph. 2:19-22; Heb. 10:24-25)

FAMILY:  We support the spiritual nurture of the family as God’s means for order, care and growth in the Christian faith.

LOST PEOPLE:  We value people who do not know Jesus as their salvation and will use every available Christ-honoring means to pursue, win and mature them as believers. (Ezek. 33:11; Matt. 28:18-20; Mark 2:17; Luke 15:7, 19:10; I Tim. 1:15; II Peter 3:9)

MOBILIZED CONGREGATION:  We believe all born-again Christians are to be salt and light in this world. We believe each believer is uniquely designed and gifted with abilities to impact those in his or her sphere of influence. We desire to equip and employ him or her to effectively accomplish the work of the ministry and bear fruit for Christ wherever he or she goes. (Matt. 10:1, 7-8, 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-18; Acts 1:8; Eph. 4:11-16; Col. 1:9-12)
